Soft bushings are the enemy of hard launches and drivetrain longevity. The factory BMW transfer case bushingsāespecially on the G8X and F9X platformsāare notoriously soft. Thatās the last thing you want when youāre putting serious power down.
Sure, you could replace the entire bushing with a solid one, but that often requires lowering or removing the transfer caseānot to mention the added NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) that comes with it.
Our transfer case bushing inserts offer a smarter solution: reduce bushing flex without sacrificing comfort. You keep smooth, quiet drivability around town and at idleābut when itās time to launch, the transfer case stays planted.

The options may be chosen on the product page / DetailsVTT noticed a hole in the VTT A9X Supra/BMW Z4 / G2X / G42 Billet Diff Lock Down Kit market for a high-quality, lightweight, NVH-friendly, and easy-to-install Diff Lock Down kit to improve diff stability under launching, and hard cornering. So we did something about it and went to work on a very innovative design that 100% positively locks the diff down from movement, while shielding it from adding a ton of NVH, and can be used with the stock diff, and subframe bushings. This design uses existing mounting points on the vehicle, you do NOT have to remove the subframe or the Diff to install. Simply remove 4 diff bolts, drill two holes in the subframe slightly bigger, install two M10 riv-nuts, and install the lockdown, you do not even have to move the exhaust. A typical install can be 15-30 minutes for someone who is experienced working on vehicles, an hour if you like taking it slow. You WILL need a Riv-nut tool to install the Riv-nuts, we provide a link below for what we recommend on Amazon. Features:- Lightweight 1.5 lbs for the entire lockdown plate
- Uses FOUR connection points on the Diff, and two on the subframe for the ultimate in positive diff location, this will stop all diff movement on launch, saving your guibos, etc

Quick ViewVTT is proud to offer a truly plug-and-play line lock kit for select BMW vehicles that does NOT require running wiring inside the car, mounted switches, holes in the dash, etc. Our newly designed and released line lock kits use a 40amp wireless remote control switch with 4 different modes that allow you to tailor your line lock setup exactly as you prefer. You simply install the solenoids, install the harness with the switch which has all the wiring terminated, bleed the brakes, and you are ready for effortless burnouts which will not be interfered with by the DME because you are holding the brakes, nor wear your rear brake pads. You can store the remote anywhere in your vehicle, center console, cup holder, door cup holder, etc., and when you need to do a burnout to heat your race tires it's in arm's reach without running any wiring into the vehicle. Fitment is confirmed for G8X M3/4, A9X Supra - The kit itself including lines, solenoids, etc will fit most all late model BMW Chassis including F8X, F3X, G2X, etc. The main concern will be mounting the wireless switch in the passenger cowl area. This keeps the stock bushing ride compliance but removes any unwanted movement. These are sold as a kit. To install remove the rear diff bushing, use the stock bolt in press the bushing in, and then replace it with the new bolt washer, and lock nut! Kit includes:

VTT is proud to offer a premium carbon fiber driveshaft manufactured exclusively for VTT in the USA by GCDS (Gulf Coast Driveshaft) ā one of the premier driveshaft manufacturers in the country with extensive experience in high-performance and drag racing applications.
Each driveshaft is constructed using 3.25" carbon fiber tubing, paired with NEAPCO Performance 1350 series U-joints, then bonded using a proprietary high-strength process and precision balanced to within 1/8 in-oz as a complete assembly.
Every shaft is torque tested in-house prior to shipping to ensure proper bonding and structural integrity. GCDS and VTT are among the few manufacturers that perform full torque testing on each shaft before it leaves the facility.
To complete the system, the driveshaft is paired with VTT-designed 7075 aluminum adapters, eliminating the factory guibos and unnecessary flex points. The shaft connects directly to the BMW 3-bolt front flange, while a VTT 4340 rear adapter replaces the factory slip-in / screw-retained shaft design for improved strength and reliability.
