We created these for the Cummins owner who wants to get rid of their crankcase filter, and plastic VC, while giving you a variety of ways to run your crankcase ventilation. The gas chamber comes with SSS mesh to knock down any oil droplets before it gets to the turbo inlet if you choose to run stock routing. You can also rotate the gas chamber 90 degrees, and run a hose down under the truck, or you can run this with our Billet catch can, for the ultimate in keeping oil out of your turbo inlet, and out of your engine. This upgraded billet VC also adds some nice color, and pop to their engine bay. These come in 3 colors Red, Black, and Clear, Anodize, as well as custom colors, are available (3-4 weeks for a customer color $200 upcharge) -

This gets rid of the restrictive failure-prone Heater delete grid, and offers a billet anodized plate in its place. This gets rid of the factory restriction, and possible dreaded bolt dropping into the cylinder. The delete plate is machined from solid 6061-T6 in 4 different colors and has the stand offs as PART of the plate. This costs more to machine but means you are not trying to hold stand off and line up bolts at the same time, which can be a cuss-worthy endeavor. The fuel fill cap has a rare earth magnet which allows you to stick the cap to the fuel door hinge while filling up to keep it secure. We retained the best aspects of the factory Cummins turbo design while eliminating key limitationsāsuch as outdated 12-blade turbine wheels, restrictive turbine housings, and cast compressor wheels. In their place, weāve implemented modern aero advancements, including a billet cobalt VGT nozzle for increased durability and long service life.
Many assume the compressor wheel is the primary factor in power production. While it plays a role, the turbine wheel is the true driver of turbocharger flow and performanceāincluding blade count, aero design, and efficiency.
By replacing the outdated 12-blade turbine with an advanced 9-blade Inconel turbine featuring modern aero and weight-reduction cutouts, the GC turbo delivers:
