We created these for the S65 owner who wants to add a great look to their engine bay while also getting rid of the stock valve cover which are very problematic and can crack/leak/delaminate with higher mileage. We started from scratch on these and made them the RIGHT way. We did this by getting rid of the leak-prone factory oil cap design with a threaded cap with O-ring Seal, we also added two -10 ORB bungs which allow you complete freedom to plumb in a catch can, or vent system of your choice. The internal baffling is 100% in place to knock down any oil from the vapors before being expelled! We ALSO kept the factory PCV in place. You can run these in ANY number of ways. Quick ViewOut of stockWith the VTT COMPLETE Catch can set up, we completely address the low AND high sides, by separating them, and running each side into its own chamber in the catch can. We do this using a custom PCV plate, that organizes the HIGH and LOW sides into nice short hose runs and uses strategically placed check valves to keep boost out of your crankcase, and in the manifold where it belongs. Our opening in the PCV plate is baffled, and the plate chambers themselves are filled with Stainless mesh to knock down any oil mist, and the catch can is also filled with this mesh. This means any oil is knocked out of the air BEFORE it gets to your intake ports or turbocharger inlet. We completely redesigned what people think of then they see an MQB catch can set up. VOLUME in the PCV system is just as important as the vacuum itself. Every set on the market runs lines across the ENTIRE engine bay, this long run, mean vacuum drop, and volume loss, this equals poor PCV operation. Our system mounts the can directly over the cold side of the turbocharger against the firewall, and the longest hose run is only a little over 9". We also use all custom CNC aluminum Banjo fittings, and Banjo Bolts, even our check valves are custom fitted into banjo Fittings. The -6 Banjo that pulls vacuum for the low side also serves as a place to run a boost tap if wanted. This makes it easy to run a boost reference for BOV, Boost gauge, 1:1 FPR reference, etc.

Quick ViewHeat is the enemy of power, and the last thing you want is hot coolant heating your charge air even further right before it enters the charge cooler, but this is what BMW has done on the S58. This is done for emissions and quick warm-up purposes. However, If you are looking to make power on the S58, and are upgrading your charge cooler, or adding PI. While you are there, it takes 30 seconds to remove the coolant lines from the TB connections and replace them with our billet coolant delete kit. This completely removes the coolant from the Throttle body and provides a bypass for the coolant. Simply remove the two lines going to the throttle body, and run our hose in their place. You leave the coolant fittings on the TB open and avoid any unwanted heat being introduced into your charge tract. In our opinion a must for full effort builds. We take the work out of it for you. Overview
VTT takes the S55 platform to the next level with our āGC-MAXā evolution of the record-setting GC Series. Based on everything learned from the GC / GC+ programs, GC-MAX pushes the limit of what is possible while retaining full bolt-on, factory-location packaging.
Internal flow paths have been enlarged significantly. A/R is optimized. Inlet diameter is maximized to 2.5ā. Compressor is increased to 67mm. Most importantly ā the turbine housing has been completely retooled to accept our 54mm G25-series turbine wheel used on the G8X S58 GC+ and F9X GC series. This turbine is the key to GC-MAX power ā extremely low backpressure, rapid spool, and capability far beyond any turbine wheel of similar size.
This same wheel architecture has already pushed 1000WHP+ on S58 / S63 based applications ā and has gone 9.44 @ 146mph on a stock motor / stock drivetrain G80. GC-MAX gives the F8X owner a true bolt-on 1000WHP solution without going single turbo and without losing factory response, packaging, or reliability.

So we did something about it and went to work on a very innovative design that 100% positively locks the diff down from movement, while shielding it from adding a ton of NVH, and can be used with the stock diff, and subframe bushings. This design uses existing mounting points on the vehicle, you do NOT have to remove the subframe or the Diff to install. Simply lower the diff to access the front cover, drill one hole in the subframe slightly bigger, install an M12 riv-nut, and install the lockdown. A typical install can be 1-2 hours for someone who is experienced working on vehicles. You WILL need a Riv-nut tool to install the Riv-nut, we provide a link below for what we recommend on Amazon. The BMW S58 G8X M3/4 Carbon fiber intakes! BMW did a wonderful job designing these intakes and we have found they are only slightly restrictive at elevated power levels, mostly due to the secondary filter inside, and the factory paper filter. Beware of companies selling expensive intake systems, or cone set up, with a single dyno comparison claiming big gains. The factory setup is EXTREMELY efficient with only a couple of small changes. With this in mind, we decided to just take their cues, and make factory-style carbon fiber intake tops with no secondary filters, and high flow cotton pre-oiled filters. These are 8 layers of 100% carbon not a single layer wrapped over plastic and they are 1.3MM thick with our logo vacuum printed onto the tops, with a UV resistant gloss clear coating. This is not only strong but will resist discoloration for an extended period of time. The filters themselves are made with a heat-resistant silicone base, a high-flowing cotton weave element with a pre-oiled design to catch contaminates but allow free flow.
